For over 40 years, we have been producing cutting dies and accessories.
The company was founded in 1978 by Domenico Basso and Gilberto De Cani. Drawing on their backgrounds as a packaging draughtsman and a die-mounting specialist, they established the Fustellificio Artigiano — a craft die-cutting workshop. In its early days, the business was a family operation run from a home garage, with production carried out almost entirely by hand.
The first step towards innovation came in 1991, with the company’s rebranding as Systembox and its relocation to a new 700 m² facility in Mason Vicentino. This marked the introduction of machinery that would transform the entire die-cutting industry, including laser cutting systems and bending machines.
In 2004, another leap forward: the acquisition of a new 1,500 m² operational facility in Molvena, followed by the integration of modern equipment and know-how to further improve the company–client relationship and service quality.
In 2017, the company’s evolution took yet another step forward: thanks to access to European Union funding, significant investments were made in line with Industry 4.0 and 5.0 frameworks. The introduction of highly efficient, high-precision cutting-edge machinery led to a substantial increase in production capacity and a further elevation of quality standards.
Die-cutting Production for Packaging
Systembox is a dynamic and innovative company operating across most of the Italian territory, with a particular focus on Northern Italy, as well as in several European countries.
Over the years, the company has developed deep expertise in the design and manufacturing of cutting dies, working exclusively with premium-quality materials and providing clients with comprehensive technical support from brief to final delivery.
Our Working Method
Our forty years of experience have been the backbone that has allowed the company to remain a solid and trusted presence in the die-cutting market.
What has always set us apart is our commitment to putting the client first — listening carefully to their needs and building a collaborative partnership to define the design and procedural guidelines that ensure the final product fully meets the requirements and specifications of each packaging project.
Technology as an Ally in Die Production
Year after year, we have invested in state-of-the-art machinery to keep pace with industry developments and offer clients an increasingly effective, fast, and reliable service, while minimising the margin of error. Technology and computerised systems also enable us to incorporate key design elements and creative ideas into each project, resulting in packaging that is ever more distinctive and refined.
The Creative Mission
The production of a packaging structure — or the simple die-cutting of a component using a cutting die — should always be regarded as a creative act. Our approach therefore encompasses not only the application of industrial design expertise, but also a meticulous attention to aesthetics. This is the added value that transforms any project from concept into reality.
